Financial Times Names Retirement Income Solutions to Second Annual FT 300 List

Retirement Income Solutions, Inc., an Ann Arbor-based independent financial advisory firm, is pleased to announce that it has again been named to the Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers (RIA), as of June 18, 2015. The list recognizes top independent RIA firms from across the US.

This is the second annual FT 300 list and the second year that Retirement Income Solutions has been recognized by the Financial Times (FT). The FT 300 list is produced independently by the FT in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the FT that provides business intelligence on the investment management industry.

“Our entire team is honored to again be recognized by the Financial Times with an FT 300 ranking. This designation reflects our firm’s commitment to keeping our clients’ best interests in mind every day, helping build and preserve wealth for retirement, college funding plans, and estate planning,” says Brock Hastie, Managing Partner at Retirement Income Solutions.

Serving families throughout the Ann Arbor area and the University of Michigan community for more than 30 years, today Retirement Income Solutions manages over $1 billion in assets. The firm is trusted by clients to manage retirement assets and also help with family financial affairs.

More than 2,000 elite RIA firms were invited to apply for consideration by the FT, based on their assets under management (AUM). The 360 RIA firms that applied were then graded on six criteria: AUM; AUM growth rate; years in existence; advanced industry credentials; online accessibility; and compliance records.

The Financial Times is a leading business news organization, and its FT 300 listing reflects its assessment of adviser practices from the perspective of investors. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to the Financial Times for inclusion in the FT 300.
