Financial Times Ranks Retirement Income Solutions Among Top 300
Retirement Income Solutions, an Ann Arbor-based independent financial advisory firm, was named to the Financial Times’ list of top registered investment advisers in the US, announced in a special issue of the newspaper’s US edition, June 26, 2014.
“We’re honored to be recognized in the Financial Times’ inaugural ranking and believe this designation reflects our entire team’s commitment to helping clients build wealth and create retirement income for their lifetime and beyond,” says Brock Hastie, Managing Partner at Retirement Income Solutions.
The Financial Times (FT) is a leading business news organization, and its FT 300 listing reflects its assessment of advisor practices from the perspective of investors. The 2014 Financial Times Top 300 Registered Investment Advisers (RIA) is an independent listing produced by the Financial Times. The FT 300 is based on data gathered from RIA firms, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. As identified by the FT, the listing reflects each practice’s performance in six primary areas, including assets under management, asset growth rate, compliance record, industry certifications, online accessibility, and the firm’s years in existence, as well as the FT’s own research into the practices. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to the Financial Times for inclusion in the FT 300.
Serving families throughout the Ann Arbor area and the University of Michigan community for more than 30 years, today Retirement Income Solutions manages over $1 billion in assets. The firm is trusted by clients to manage retirement assets and also help with family financial affairs.
“We understand that trust, integrity, and personalized service are important factors when you are seeking a financial advisor – and these attributes are frequently cited as reasons why our clients select us to manage their financial affairs,” says Todd Kephart, Managing Partner.
Retirement Income Solutions manages investments and coordinates retirement strategies, estate planning, college funding, and gifting preferences. Additionally, the firm can manage TIAA-CREF and Fidelity accounts and integrate other assets into client plans.
Beyond the national ranking, Retirement Income Solutions was one of only six Michigan firms to make the FT 300 list.
